The Guitar Orchestra Of Europe will hold two Performances, one in Woltersdorf (Friday 12th) for Family & Friends and a public one at the KulturKirche in Berlin/Neukölln (Saturday 13th).
This ten day Project offers dedicated group work for Beginners and for Intermediate levels, Personal Meetings, Alexander Technique (groups and individual).
George informs about OBF:
‘Orchestral Body Flow’ draws on principles from Guitar Craft, the Alexander Technique and Tai Chi Chuan to explore how an orchestral body of people organises itself from moment to moment as music arises. This requires engaging connections: to ourselves and our instrument, to other players, to the orchestral space and to our audience. On this Course, we will practice building these connections and watch what unfolds during rehearsal and performance.’
Woltersdorf is a small village ca 30 km from Berlin and its airports. Space at the EC Freizeithaus is limited, if you wish to attend please apply asap in order to reserve your place.
Work in the House and the Kitchen will be an integral part of the course for all participants.
Supporting the Beginners team (Introduction To GE February 7th to 12th) is a main aspect of this Course.
To apply please email your application letter focusing on the following questions:
1 – Who are you?
2 – Why do you wish to attend?
3 – What is your Aim?
